This course is higher level applied course and intended for senior students. This course is designed to maximize the collaboration between the school of economics and industry. The course will focus on solving real-world problems through projects. The course will be run by collaboration of professor and sponsoring company’ mentors. Following is special aspects of the course. 1. The class (10 students) will make 3 teams. Team will perform each of 3 projects given by sponsoring company. 2. Professor will give lectures on financial economics subjects related to projects during the class. Students will discuss their progress on projects. 3. There will be mid-term presentation during students’ second meeting with mentors. 4. There will be final presentation in the last week of semester. 5. Only for students who completed the course will be awarded sponsoring company’s internship certificate. However, this is not related to any full-time job offer indication. 6. Students will get grade based on grading guideline of pass/fail 7.
