Prof. Jun Young KIM appointed as the 6th Chairperson of the NRC

Professor. Jun Young KIM(Ph.D., Department of Economics) was appointed as the 6th Chairperson of the National Research Council for Economics Humanities and Social Sciences (NRC) on October 25th.
On the Same day, the new chairperson delivered a speech at the inauguration ceremony, which was held at the Gangbuk Smart Work Center.
He stated, “In these difficult times, the NRC will galvanize communications and exchange in order to lead invigorating research to connect with the citizens and act as the fountain of national policies.” in his speech.
NRC is a public institution run by the office of the Prime Minister. It was established in 2005, as a result of the integration of 2 research councils in the field of economics, humanities and social sciences.
