Graduate students in economics, undergraduate students in global economics,
Participating in the Workshop hosted by the Australian National University (ANU) QuantEcon.
4 graduate students in economics and 5 undergraduates in global economics took part in the "Economic Modeling with Python" theme at the Australian National University from February 24th to 25th to establish a global network.
Prof. John Stachurski (ANU), Nobel prize-winner Prof. Thomas Sargent (NYU), and Prof. Timothy Kam of this school emphasized and taught students the importance of using Phyton language in many areas, including building models in economics.
On the first day of the workshop, Prof. Thomas Sargent attended the workshop and had time to deepen the understanding of the participating students by answering questions and answers with Prof. John Stachurski.
Prof. Lee Joonsang, who led the students in economics, had in-depth discussions on not only exchanges of exchange students between Prof. John Starchurski and our graduate students, but also ways to expand future opportunities for undergraduate students and to expand the scope of international cooperation with ANU-QuantEcon and SKKU through joint economic policy implementation.
