- 주제: Reputation and disagreement in bargaining with imperfect commitment
- Abstract: We study a model of bargaining with imperfect commitment and show that the excessive demands often observed in practice may be caused by the negative correlation in the success of commitment attempts or the arrival of public signals about the resolve of players. In a unified framework of reputational bargaining, our analysis extends and reinforces several formal results in the literature spanning over 65 years.
